Last week, on April 19, 2013, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) made available its 2013 Intaglio Print Subscription Program, "Ideals in Allegory."

This year’s commemorative program from the BEP is dedicated to the female allegorical figures symbolizing peace, justice, and liberty.

"This collection features an exquisite compilation of unique engraved allegorical vignettes focusing on the age-old art of intaglio printing," describes the Bureau of Engraving and Printing’s website.
Through the subscription program, the three Intaglio Prints may be purchased for $51.00, which is a savings of $9 from the individual price. Each print will be placed on sale at different times this year for $20. The subscription not only offers a cheaper price per print, it guarantees subscribers will get one.

There is a limited time to join the subscription. Collectors have until June 2, 2013. The first print in the series will launch one day later. Release dates for the commemorative "Ideals in Allegory" Intaglio Prints are:
